| 1. Decide on the size of portrait you would like and the medium (oil painting or drawing). |

| 2. Contact me to discuss the portrait. I will need information about the dog/horse and will need to discuss the reference material I can work with - this usually means arranging a meeting where I can take photographs and sketch (oil painting commissions only). For drawings I will need a good selection of your photographs sent. |

| 3. A deposit is required to confirm the commission - a receipt of confirmation detailing the commission will be sent to you. |

| 4. A time scale is provided in which to carry out the painting. Once the commission is near completion an image of the artwok is sent for your approval before final payment is made. |

| 5. The artwork is then dispatched. |

| Note: If in the event I am unable to meet a deadline for a customer (this often happens towards Christmas for example) a Gift Certificate for a portrait is a good alternative. Each year I allocate a certain number of Gift Certificates for portraits. Made to order and personalised for the recipient, the Gift Certificates are beautifully presented and make a lovely and unique, last minute gift. |
